Healthy Hearts Education Group to meet at Maury Regional Medical Center
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The Healthy Hearts Education Group at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) will meet on Wednesday, January 18, at 12 p.m. in the medical center’s Private Dining Room One.
The Healthy Hearts Education Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month with a goal to promote self-care and management of heart disease through education and awareness. This month’s topic is “Low Impact Exercises for Heart Health.” Maury Regional Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services Nathan Miller will discuss the benefits of exercise and stretching, the pros and cons of high impact versus low impact exercise, and exercises that can be done with minimal equipment.
